do something for humanity

Ok, I'm not gonna make this a preachy thing, but when was the last time you tried to do something for mankind. I passionately wanna change the world (I haven't figured out how to do it yet, but I'll let you know when I've figured it out...) .

A lot of times we can only do a little and because we don't see the result instantly we don't feel like doing it at all. I do it, I bet you do it too. But in this hi-tech-society it is made so easy to make a difference, so why not give it a shot...
Here are some sites where you can make a difference just my signing an online petition or even easier, by clicking on the button and making a free donation. (Free donation: click and make someone else donate the money for you...) Just think of something you think is important.

And of course you can take it as far as you want to, you can write prisoners encouraging cards or write letters to governments.

You can adopt a child financially in an underdeveloped country.

Like I said, the sky is the limit... well...
Donate (your own) money, there are enough organizations out there that are doing great work but need your money for their resources.
Volunteer somewhere. Go do the groceries for one of the elderly people in your neighborhood, visit someone who's lonely, send an encouraging card.
Give up your summerbreak and build a school in Tanzania.

See what you want to do and then do it!

ps
Don't expect that helping people will give you these fuzzy feelings. I would like to refer to my previous post on ministry. And people aren't always grateful either...
